The Challenge
The UK’s largest builders’ merchant approached Nene Warehouse Solutions to deliver a full turnkey storage solution for their new Oxford branch. With a broad inventory of heavy, irregular, and standard items, they needed a system that could accommodate multiple product types while maximising warehouse space. Speed of delivery was also a priority, with tight timelines to get the branch operational.
The Solution
Following an in-depth consultation and full site survey, Nene designed a comprehensive racking package including adjustable pallet racking, cantilever racking for non-standard items, and heavy-duty long span shelving. The system was fully equipped with mesh decking, shelf partitioning systems, and full rack protection for safety and durability. Thanks to Nene’s significant stock holding, all materials were available immediately, allowing the project to be completed within weeks and the site to go live without delay.
